A Woodfield Captain’s Club Wedding ~ Grand Blanc, Michigan

I am FINALLY getting around to sharing this blog post! What a whirlwind couple of weeks! I was so excited to be able to photograph Austin and Sienna’s wedding at Woodfield Captain’s Club! They found me through an engagement session giveaway that I was running last summer and I am so happy they did. They are one of the SWEETEST couples I have met.

Sienna told me that they had postponed their wedding in June 2020 because of the pandemic. I wanted to capture absolutely everything they wanted! She had waited a whole extra year, gone through a move, and came back to Michigan for her big day. We needed to make it EPIC! I had plans for sunset portraits, photos outside, etc. But, in true Michigan fashion, the weather had other plans.

We started out the day just overcast, but by the time the ceremony was over, we had tornado warnings, high winds, and rain. It was a little crazy, BUT we managed! The rain cleared at the very end of the evening and we walked out onto the balcony for some photos and then braved the wet soppy golf course to get a few outdoor photos to change it up.

Sienna looked just as stunning as ever and we took SO many photos! What a special day for both of their families to come together and celebrate with them after waiting a whole extra year. I was so happy to be able to celebrate with them as well and capture many special moments! Here is a preview of some of my favorites:
