I just have to say it again: time goes SO fast! It seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital taking photos of Mila at just two days old. We cannot believe she is already one.

Katie and I were supposed to take Mila’s photos in May, but, because of COVID, we had to keep rescheduling. We had originally planned an indoor smashcake session; however, I am so glad Kristy (Mila’s mom) chose this option instead.

By far one of my favorite sessions, these two gorgeous girls made our job so easy. Kristy had informed us that Mila had taken a great nap that day, so, we got plenty of smiles out of her! Plus, it is never hard to smile when you know that you get to eat cake!


We played for a bit in the field and daisies that were in bloom and then moved on to the smash-cake session last so that it wouldn’t matter if Miss Mila got frosting on every part of the set 🙂

In all, my favorite part of this session was the beautiful glow of the sunset. It helped to provide such an amazing backdrop for these photos.
