My love for intentional branding photography that represents women business owners truly stemmed from finding my own self worth in a world that was taken over by motherhood and endless hours at home with kids under 5. (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mom, Seriously, it's my number one and my whole life revolves around it.) BUT, when you're in the thick of it, you don't often don't see the forest through the trees if you get what I mean.
My business was born from a place of questioning:
Am I meant to be a solely a mom?
Am I meant for more than this place and time?
What is this feeling rising up in me?
Why can't I just be happy in this space?

Being in motherhood is fleeting. You never realize what stage is over with until it hits you like a ton of bricks. Babies grow so quickly. One minute they are asking you to push them on the swings, jump on the trampoline, or play barbies, and the next thing you know, they are staying after school for track practice and staying the night at their friends' houses.

I once asked if I could have a whole day to myself and go anywhere, where would I go. My number one answer is always out in nature. I love the mountains in Colorado and the stunning views. When I can't get to the mountains, a simple walk through the woods will do. I've always been fascinated with nature, the weather, and the sky. Yes, I'm a nerdy soulful kind of girl :)

I'm a Michigan girl. IYKYK. Horribly cold winters, and stunning summer days. I used to be a fall/winter girl and while I still love the gorgeous fall colors and Christmas, I LIVE for long summer days, sunset sessions, kiddos outside playing, beach days in the summer sun, and the warmth that summer brings.
